Pearls of Italy & Greece

'“We had such an amazing time!!  It is the best trip I've ever been on, it was fantastic from start to finish.  Honestly I wouldn't change anything about it, it was absolutely perfect.

 When we arrived in Rome on Friday morning, we went and saw the Coliseum which was incredible.  We did purchase a guided tour and it was worth it as we got to go inside to see it.  I was blown away.  We followed your advice and just stayed up to get used to the time change.  It was a long day, we went to sleep around 6 that evening, we were exhausted.  The next morning we got up and went and saw the Partheon, also awesome.

 The ship was great, just the right size for us.  Not too big, not too small.  It was a very smooth ride, we never felt the ship rocking or anything like that.  The staff was terrific, they were extremely friendly and got to know us almost immediately by name.  They were willing to do whatever they could to make us comfortable and happy.  The food was outstanding, Amber is very particular about the food on trips and she was very pleased with it.  There was one couple there probably in their 30s on their honeymoon, but other than them, Amber and I were the youngest passengers on the ship by about 15 years.  A pretty old crowd but it was fine as we met some really fun and exciting people.  It didn't bother us at all.

 We were able to get in the Pompeii tour, which was AWESOME.  Our tour guide was really good, very knowledgeable about the history and passionate about educating.  We loved it.  It was REALLY hot, but so worth it!!

 The Mount Etna and wine tasting was also great.  Very cool to see the volcano and Amber LOVED the wine we were given.  We were also provided with a giant plate of local meats and cheeses which was very fun.  

 We ended up going on one other free excursion, it was the hike in Greece with a visit to a Greek beach.  That was great too, the water was so clean and refreshing and the beach was so beautiful.

 Drinks were great as well.  A great selection of pretty much anything we wanted.

 The ride through the Corinth canal was so cool too.  I can't believe a ship that big can get through a canal that narrow.  Unreal.

 When we departed the ship and got to Athens, we did go to the Acropolis, another amazing experience.  Again, it was HOT, but very much worth it.

 Yes the flight from Chicago to Sioux Falls was delayed but other than that everything went very smoothly.  Our rides and drivers were always there on time and it was easy to get where we needed to go.  No issues at all.

 Overall I can't even tell you how much we enjoyed ourselves on this trip.  Truly unforgettable.  We both want to thank you so much for booking it for us, you did such a fantastic job of making sure everything was taken care of.  We really appreciate it!!  When we book our next trip you will be the first call I make!!  Thanks again Amber.”
